Luxury Mexico Holidays – Only Exclusive Travel

Mexico conjures up images of a colourful, fun-loving country of huge sombreros, rattling maracas and mariachi bands crooning while you munch on jalapeno-filled tacos. A man with a curly moustache, a bright and patterned poncho and a Chihuahua by his side plays intricate notes on his guitar and singing. Mexico is one of the most vibrant and unique holiday destinations in the world

Mexico, as well as being renowned for introducing the voracious burrito, the cheesy nacho, the spicy fajita and lovely quesadilla to the world’s cantina, is also a fantastic location for a luxury holiday. Who wouldn’t want to take a vacation to the place rumoured to have discovered cocoa beans? Their fruity-limey array of alcohol, including bottles of Sol, Modelo and Corona, and the dreaded salty tequila shot, will ensure your luxury Mexican holiday is punctuated with many fun fiestas in-between your siestas. With plenty of allowance for celebrations, Mexicans have festivals such as Cinco de Mayo, celebrating Mexican independence on the 5th May, and Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), which celebrates the spirits of the deceased with lots of eating, partying, and the fashionable sugar skull print! Join in the celebrations and party like a Mexican, shouting “Arriba! Arriba!”

For a more cultured outing, there are plenty of religious fairs, concerts, dance and theatre performances and an annual Jazz Festival for you to attend. Being a family-driven community with deep-entrenched cultures, you can spend some Mexican Peso on a trip to some of the most ancient and beautiful pre-hispanic Mayan architecture, or buy some garments decorated with striking Aztec prints with your family. Mexico sightseeing is rewarding; with hundreds of squares with churches, colonial architecture, historical buildings and libraries whispering back to its history, a day out in Mexico is often both educational and fun. Having one of the highest numbers of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the world, Mexico has a lot to offer in terms of sight-seeing.

Weather

Playa del Carmen receives a tropical climate with high temperatures and moderate rainfall year round. The dry season, from November till May, sees low levels of rain. Obviously, night temperatures are significantly lower than daytime ones; nights see temperatures of 10°C as day time temperatures can peak as high at 30°C. The location of Playa del Carmen, by the Gulf of Mexico,  puts it in the path of hurricanes and ensures tropical heat year round, tempered slightly by the sea currents and breezes.

All year sees average winter temperatures in the 20°Cs in Los Cabos, climbing up into the 30°Cs in the summer, but not getting as hot as other parts of Mexico at the same latitude due to its coastal location.

Activities

Mexico is a diverse land full of vibrant life and activities. Gorgeous beaches, diverse wildlife, a whole underwater world to discover and golfing, trekking, sailing and scuba diving activities in Mexico are everywhere to be seen.
