Luxury Cambodia Holidays with Only Exclusive Travel

The Kingdom of Cambodia, situated in Southeast Asia, remains one of Asia's most enthralling destinations. A country deeply enriched in its history and culture, it never fails to impress even the most seasoned traveller. Visit the deserted beaches on the gulf of Thailand, experience the exotic senses generated during a visit to Phnom Penh, the deep jungles and the final mystique and grandeur of the glorious Angkorean period. What an utterly unique holiday destination.

The Kingdom of Cambodia has a majestic ring to it, suggesting it is riddled with mystery and legends ingrained in its very atmosphere. And it is. Cambodia hosts one of the greatest archaeological sites: The Ang Kor Wat Temple in North Cambodia. This world heritage site is one of the best and largest preserved religious monuments in the world, is surrounded by an impressive moat on all four corners and is reputed to be a truly glorious site at sunrise. The Angkor complex is a 100,000-acre forested area with the remains of different Khmer monuments and hidden secrets of long forgotten empires and imposing ancient architecture. Once home to the largest civilisation in the East, her colossal statues emerge from the tropical jungle where whole temples are slowly being moved by strangling roots. Once a forgotten land, The Kingdom of Cambodia whispers its wise secrets.

Activities

When engaging in the Cambodian culture, there really is little you cannot engage in. From its diverse wildlife, sea creatures and environment to encounter, as well as city-orientated pursuits such as shopping, and partying in nonpereil nightlife establishments, Cambodia is unique and accommodating.

Countryside & Wildlife

Countryside & Wildlife

Diverse species' of mammals, wild cattle and deer, as well as predators like tigers and leopards still roam the remote forests of the Eastern Plains Landscape, while a small population of Irrawaddy Dolphin inhabits the Cambodian section of the Mekong River. Cambodia's population of large waterbirds in both forests and wetlands stand out as globally significant. The Mekong River is also home to several endangered and iconic fish and reptile species, and critically endangered Siamese crocodiles have been observed in the Eastern Plains' Srepok River.

Watersports

Watersports

The Gulf of Thailand offers superb sailing conditions in a warm tropical climate and consistent trade winds of 10 to 15 knots all year round makes Cambodia an idyllic sailing destination. Sailing between the islands and passing by the tiny handmade fishing craft of the local Cambodian fishing villages is an experience in itself. The only people you will encounter are the locals from the few tiny fishing villages, living their lives as they have always done.

Trekking

Trekking

Cambodia has plenty of fantastic jungle areas, this provides the scope for tailor-made Cambodia Treks covering any amount of detail or time frame. You will see some amazing wildlife, hill tribes and villages, plus get the chance to bathe in the waterfalls and rivers. Longer treks go deep into jungle areas, providing the best opportunity to see wildlife.

Underwater Activities

Underwater Activities

Go diving in South East Asia's newest dive destination, Cambodia. Cambodia's amazing underwater world is still being discovered and the guides have been mapping the marine environments around the Islands of Koh Rong, Koh Rong Samloem, Koh Koun and Koh Tang for the past 4 years and can take you to the most secret and beautiful dive sites in Cambodia.

Fishing

Fishing

From remote jungles of the Mekong, freshwater giants and amazing river scenery to sea air, deserted island beaches and great saltwater catches, Cambodia is an excellent location for adventure fishing.

Golf

Golf

Golf is a relatively new pastime in Cambodia, and yet, it is developing fast. Until the mid 1990s golf was unheard of in the country, but it was only a matter of time until the popularity of golf grew; the Prime Minister himself, Hun Sen, is an avid golf player with a handicap of 15. Phnom Penh, Cambodia's laid back capital, has 2 full scale 18-hole golf courses on its western outskirts.

Shopping

Shopping

For fine silks, textiles, statues and carvings along with silverwork and even art, Cambodia is a treasure trove. The Buddhism-themed items are sold in boutiques, on the street and in large markets both in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap and, generally speaking, specific items for sale are to be found in specific parts of the towns.

Nightlife

Nightlife

Cambodian nightlife is a lot more locally orientated than in Thailand although foreigners are amply catered for in the country's many bars, restaurants and clubs. Some clubs are open 24 hours round the clock and none close early. The restaurant scene runs parallel, that is to say late, along with the nightclubs.
